Withdrawal request logs from 47 operators, collected between September 2025 and June 2026.
Between September 2025 and June 2026, our review team requested 340 withdrawals from 47 licensed casinos, each funded with our own money. We logged the timestamp at request, at approval, and at the moment funds landed. The gap between the first and last of those three numbers is where nearly every player complaint we receive comes from.
The advertised figure — “withdrawals processed within 24 hours” — is technically true at most of these operators. It describes the approval step only. What it leaves out is the verification queue that sits in front of approval and the payment rail that sits behind it, and those two stages accounted for a median of 19 additional hours across our sample.
Where the time actually goes
Splitting the 340 requests into their three stages produced a consistent shape. Verification was the
widest variable: a first-time withdrawal at a new account averaged 26 hours in review, while a repeat
withdrawal on a verified account averaged under three.

Verification is a document problem, not a policy problem
In 71 of our 340 requests, the operator asked for at least one additional document after the initial
submission. In 58 of those 71, the request was for a clearer copy of something we had already sent.
Blurry photos, cropped corners, and expired addresses on utility bills accounted for the
overwhelming majority of restarts.
“The single highest-leverage thing a player can do is complete verification before depositing, not after winning.”

Every operator in our sample allows KYC submission at signup. Fewer than a third prompt for it.
Accounts we verified on day one cleared their first withdrawal in a median of 9 hours; accounts we
verified at cash-out took 34.
Payment rails set the floor
Once approved, the payout method determines almost everything. Crypto withdrawals settled in a
median of 22 minutes. E-wallets took roughly four hours. ACH transfers averaged 2.4 business days,
and paper checks — still offered by nine operators in our sample — took between six and fourteen
days.

What this changes about our rankings
Payout speed carries 30% of the weight in our scoring, and until this study that score leaned on
operator-stated processing windows. It now uses measured end-to-end time from our own logs.
Four sites moved down our casino rankings as a result, and two moved up.
We will re-run the full timing study every six months and publish the raw stage-level medians
alongside each review.
